Global Graphics Software celebrates King’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation

A royal occasion at our headquarters
Last week was a proud moment in our company’s history as Global Graphics Software received the King’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation, the most prestigious business honour in the UK.

The award recognises our groundbreaking SmartDFE™ – the AI-accelerated Digital Front End platform designed to drive high-speed label & packaging and industrial inkjet presses. It’s the result of years of innovation, collaboration, and a shared vision with our customers to make digital print smarter and more efficient.

The celebration took place at our Cambourne headquarters near Cambridge, where we were honoured to welcome His Majesty The King’s representative, Mrs Julie Spence OBE CStJ QPM, HM Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, the Deputy Lieutenant Dan Schunmann, and Lord-Lieutenant Cadet Sergeant Major Bethany Carnegie.

After an informative address from Mrs Spence, managing director Justin Bailey accepted the award and a citation, signed by The King and the Prime Minister. Champagne and cake followed to complete our celebration.

“Receiving the King’s Award for Enterprise is a tremendous accolade,” said Justin Bailey. “It’s a testament to the hard work, creativity, and dedication of our team. SmartDFE represents years of innovation, and this recognition inspires us to keep pushing the boundaries of digital print technology. I feel honoured to work with such talented people.”

Ben Gilbert, SmartDFE Engineering Manager, and Eric Worrall, VP of Products and Services, cut the cake to celebrate receiving the King’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation.

The King’s Award for Enterprise is the highest official UK award for business excellence, celebrating organisations that deliver outstanding innovation, growth, and impact.

Thank you to our amazing team, our partners, and our customers for helping us reach this milestone.

Here’s to the next chapter of innovation!
